Using MQ

Main Quest offers a personal 90-day habit campaign, quests, game stats, reminders and optional share cards. It is a single-player app: there are no other players, rankings, chat or user-generated content, and it requires no app account. Use it lawfully for your own routines, and do not misuse or attempt to compromise the service. Main Quest is for people aged 13 or older; do not use it if you are under 13. If you are under 18, use it with a parent or guardian's permission where your local law requires it. The app shows habit options that refer to adult topics (alcohol, smoking or vaping, pornography) only to people who say they are 18 or older. You keep your rights to information you supply. You are responsible for choosing suitable actions and deciding what to share.

Game stats, XP, class labels and projected progress are illustrative game mechanics. Bosses and enemies are fictional game characters. MQ does not promise a particular physical, mental, career or financial outcome. General wellbeing content is educational, not diagnosis, treatment or medical advice. Adapt or skip activities that do not suit your circumstances and seek qualified advice when needed.

Subscriptions

MQ has no free tier: using the campaign requires an active auto-renewing subscription. There is no app-level free period. Any free period is an introductory offer provided through the App Store, shown on the paywall before you subscribe, and it never stacks with another free offer. Billing period, store currency and price appear before purchase. Control target prices in Indonesia are Rp29.000/week and Rp299.000/year. During the optional pricing experiment, the paywall may instead offer Rp59.000 every 3 months or Rp119.000/year. The store-confirmed price is authoritative in your territory. Payment is charged to your Apple/Google account when confirmed, except an explicitly offered eligible introductory free trial, whose charge starts when the trial ends.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel through your store subscription settings. Uninstalling MQ does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation normally stops future renewal while current paid access continues until expiration, subject to the store's rules. Refunds are handled by the relevant store and applicable mandatory consumer rights.

If an eligible annual introductory free trial (for example three days) is explicitly offered, the paywall displays the trial and the subsequent annual price. It becomes a paid annual subscription after the trial unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Trial eligibility and any forfeiture of an unused introductory period are determined by the store; MQ does not guarantee eligibility. No trial is promised when eligibility is unknown. Store confirmation controls the transaction.

Restore uses the store account that bought the subscription. Anonymous billing identifiers may be processed by RevenueCat as described in the privacy policy. Access ends when the entitlement expires or is revoked. Offline access may continue until the last verified expiration; reconnect to refresh changes. A billing error does not erase local progress.

Local data, permissions and availability

Progress is stored on your device. On iPhone it is also backed up automatically to your own iCloud (same Apple ID, no MQ account) and restored on reinstall; this is best effort and can take minutes. Without iCloud, reset, uninstall or device loss may remove it. Restoring a subscription restores access; progress comes back from iCloud when it is available. Notifications and telemetry are optional and can be controlled in the Hero tab or device settings. The privacy policy is in the app (Hero > Settings). Share destinations have their own terms and policies.

We may fix, update or change MQ. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, and subscriptions remain subject to applicable store/consumer obligations if service changes. We may restrict unlawful or abusive use to the extent permitted by law.

Intellectual property and responsibility

MQ's original code, characters, art and branding belong to AsymmetricVentures or its licensors. You receive permission to use the app and its exported personal share cards for their intended purposes; this does not transfer ownership of its assets or permit resale of the app/art. Third-party open-source components retain their respective licenses.

To the extent allowed by applicable law, MQ is supplied without guarantees beyond those required by law. Nothing here excludes non-waivable consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be limited. Avoid broad waivers of mandatory protections.

Contact, law and changes

Contact support@trymainquest.com about service issues and data rights. Updated terms will show a new effective date; material changes will receive appropriate notice and any consent required by law. The store agreement also applies to distribution and purchases.
